Once you enter Redcliffe you should notice the Deathroot near the house. You might also run into Beyha Joam whom you need to kill to complete “Five Pages, Four Mages”. On your way to the village a cutscene should occur showing Zevran of the Antivan Crows, an assassin hired by Loghain.
